As educators, we provide knowledge by sharing stories. But the process of teaching yields some of the greatest stories of all. We'd like to invite you to share your story about how public media has had a positive impact in the classroom.

One thing I really like about PBS LearningMedia is the storyboard option. My students are required to go on in the middle of the unit and add any form of media. I like the fact that the students are able to take ownership of their learning because some students may go on and they may watch one video, but there are other students that will watch several videos and post the video that is most relevant to the unit.

If they don’t understand the video, they have the option of watching the video again. So, some students may only use PBS LearningMedia on the basic level because I asked them to go to the website, but then there are other students that are willing to go through and browse through the myriad of different multimedia sources and really learn from the website.
