Professional Development at the Intrepid Museum

Learning to code can start as early as Pre-K! Come learn more about teaching creative coding with the PBS Kids ScratchJr app at the Intrepid Museum Space and Science Festival. Teachers and early childhood educators will learn why computer programming is an important skill for young learners and what children gain as they create their own interactive stories, games, and animations with PBS Kids ScratchJr.

We’ll be joining experts from NASA and the Space Telescope Science Institute, as well as educators from the Children’s Museum of the Arts, Westchester Children’s Museum, and Teachers in Space for a full day of STEAM professional learning at the museum!
