Cyberchase Text-to-Teacher Program is Back!

Cyberchase, the award-winning PBS KIDS math series, is expanding its texting program for teachers of students in grades 1-3! Teachers who sign up receive a text message once a week on their phones with a link to a FREE, quality, STEM classroom resource from Cyberchase. Teachers can now infuse their curricula with Cyberchase fun throughout the school year.

This popular program, which began in the spring of 2018 as a 4-week pilot with over 1300 teachers, has now been expanded to take place throughout the school year. Teachers from across the country have used Cyberchase Text-to-Teacher activities with students to explore environmental science and math topics like habitats, coordinate grids, non-standard units of measure, and invasive species. Teachers have found the program to be an easy way to find out about quality videos, lessons, and activities from Cyberchase to use with their students to introduce and reinforce STEM topics.

Felisha W. from Florida said, “Cyberchase offers wonderful, easy to use resources that can be easily implemented in the classroom. Teachers across [our] school district used these texted resources to supplement standards to further knowledge across disciplines. Once a week resources from a show students love was a great way to get children engaged!”

Daphne G, from Louisiana loved the program, saying, “I’m a teacher [and] don’t have much time to sit at [a] computer. [This] saves time, then when resources are needed to print or present you’re ready.”

Cassandra G. in Indiana added, “I loved all the activities. They were very helpful for my students and fun.”
