NJTV Celebrates Summer & NJ Tourism with Live “In Your Neighborhood” Broadcasts

Last week, July 3, NJTV celebrated summer on the boardwalk with Long Branch with trivia games and prizes throughout the day leading up to live evening broadcasts of NJTV News with Mary Alice Williams and the NJTV In Your Neighborhood: Long Branch Special, which took an in-depth look into the shore town and tourism across New Jersey.

NJTV News Anchor Mary Alice Williams hosted both broadcasts, Correspondent Michael Hill conducted a live interview with Rep. Frank Pallone and Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron interviewed Weird NJ publisher Mark Moran (at top). Other stories in the special crisscrossed the state to give viewers a look at the diverse, popular tourist destinations in the Garden State, from family-friendly locations like Jersey City’s Liberty Science Center and Story Book Land in Egg Harbor Twp to popular shore areas like Long Beach Island and Wildwood and state parks from South Jersey’s Wharton State Forest to Liberty State Park in Jersey City and famed landmarks like the Sea Girt Lighthouse, the Historic Village at Allaire, and beyond.
