As educators, we provide knowledge by sharing stories. But the process of teaching yields some of the greatest stories of all. We'd like to invite you to share your story about how public media has had a positive impact in the classroom.

I teach 7th grade science and I use PBS LearningMedia because it’s easy to find videos and they have good supplementary materials, like good questions to ask the children to help improve the lesson.

Today I used a video on sound. The kids really liked it. They were able to get engaged with the video a lot more easily than if I were speaking at the board or if I were just using PowerPoints. They were able to see other kids in the video and understand what was going on with the sound better than if I were just explaining it.
