Topic Description: I have spoke and a Recovering Alcoholic, I know now that I drank to cover my inability to learn in the same way everyone else, I have no visual memories at all, but fantastic self esteam. I was always built up as a child by teachers and church personnel and mainly Girl Scouts, so I never was ever tempted to drink or anything as child however a girl scout fly up ceremony spiked the punch and that started it all but no drugs ever, I have had a 100% success rate with many teens in keeping them off drugs and one even out of jail, I know I am onto something, I have talked to hundreds of women and men also and not of my theories has paned out wrong, every addict lacks in one of the Three R's ask them their either can't write their thought down or can't read and can't add, if they can they are at lower level and very high in other thus the conflict at some point someone squashs their dreams or the low blow tells them they are stupid, and most lack basic communication. I would like to you look at something that works on hard core gang kids, Top Kids Place, Profession Eleglance, she is using some of what I have used give the children something they can be proud also the girl Scouts, boys and Girls, all these lack funding, can we except anything less out of kids when their are wherehoused and trucked through trailers and deployable schools with barely even enough bookes for each students, where are kids in churches younger, wake up people we can't wait tell 5th or 6th grade to educate our kids about the wrong things in life about guns and drugs and sex, if we do the other earlier our kids will not want these things or even need to know about, come we can put millions of dollars into our gyms and sports games, not that these don't help too and so the Arts. However can't a disability of a child at 5 rather than 30, I can give you at least three whom are now all sober, also that boot camp in florida also got kids their GED's and had murdering kids not re-afending, I believe their is a direct result between this and domestic abuse and this too. It all goes hand in hand, I will make you a bet that my son will prove my theory of how much education early. I'll bet you 100% he never becomes an Alcohlic, you know why I can say this prayer one, however, I read to from Birth to Age 8 everday for 15 minutes, Also diet plays a role too and I believe that vitamin B6 and B complex vitamin and possibly allergies play roles however with Education is the most powerful tool! Communication, Self-Esteam and slowing down the pace, these kids need lot's of love and outdoors seems to be effective, but mostly getting them interested in what every it takes, to keep them learning about the bird, trees and and nature and not learning about the other things they will find them soon enough, and later the better, the old wives tale of idle hands and busyness makes better people I agree! Why is that we have programs the YMCA that stimulate our babies from birth but we don't have the same programs to read to them from birth, in fact I read to him from the womb and music is another good tool!. Music soothes the savage and some of these subliminal tapes from Joe Land, also seem helpful! But it take that village and I don't see law makers making it know we should have people praising our kids for their academic acolishment rather them calling them geeks and making fun of them that's another thing picked on children become adicts if we don't reach them before 7, my theory worked on a kidergarten kid, and why is that no one in school even discovered until High School that I could not comprehend a thing I read. Also I have a 15 year passed to high School who can't even put together simple 4 letter words how can we expect them to cope Dr. Dobson had a good tape on ADHD, all of us should this listen too! about a young boy, this is your model of an adict I believe and this is the prevention every law maker should read, I have a horry story to tell about that 15 year old lost in a system and we were reaching him, how sad due to lack of finds even one child is lost, story is too long and hearbreaking to tell for now if you need more info about Professional Elegance, you can get a hold of me in person, buy the way as a foot not my husband have both beet the odds in recovery together and not one person I have used my theriors and these came from alot of sources main bibilical or big book based, they are not really my own however the education part I stumbled upon, but everyone to this day is sober 100% technics this works, It gets greater Later, is on the phrase I have used! thank you very much for your ongoing research!
