Topic Description: As someone with a previous abuse experience of cocaine several years ago, I heard about GHB and its "amazing" qualities and non-addictive substance. After using it every evening for months (like some people going to the bar after work for a few drinks), my brain chemistry became dramatically altered.
I started experiencing severe and debilitating panic attacks
and unimaginable anxiety. It has been three weeks now and I'm finally coming back to normal after beginning anti-depressant treatment of "Paxil" and short term use of
anti-anxiety meds to alleviate the "HELL". Beware with this stuff especially if you have or have had a history of abuse or addiction. Altough medical claims say it helps chronically addicted alcoholics deal with the withdrawl, some alcoholics are reading it as an alternative to alcohol because of it being less "harsh" on the body. Although never having an addiction to alcohol, I cant imagine the withdrawl from GHB being any less severe (other than having a liver undamaged according to my doctor)
