Duh. The fact that the Close to Home producers posted this question shows how clueless they are. Are all diabetics the same? I think the series sucks. I was especially dismayed at the first night. It was totally insensitive to show triggers to cravings and then not offer any help. How many addicts watching the show experienced cravings caused by the show? The best thing I could say about the producers is that they are insenstive. I think they are also possibly unethical. The show should offer help not triggers to cravings. (I also think the doctor studying cravings in unethical. She didn't really seem to have much interest in the addicts, just her research.) Back to the question about all addicts being the same: I think my main problem with the show is that it's written from the point of view of non-addicts who view addicts in a simplistic, prejudicial way.
