Hi,my name is Karle and I am an addict.I have been clean of alcohol for 18 months and clean from heroin for the past 4 months. i would have 18 months clean from heroin but had a bad relapse after 8 months.The methadone treatment I am receiving definately is working.I have to walk acvross town then hitchhike to the Ferry terminal travel across Malespina Straits then walk 1.5 miles to drug store to receive medication.My question is why is it N/A believe in this program to break addiction.I have stopped going to meetings because of the way you are made to feel.It seams to be working for me and I hope to be free of treatment when the time comes.Thanks for letting me share this with you.
