Yes--it should be legalized. All drugs should be decriminalized in my view. It could serve as the role model for how to do it without turning it into a Madison Ave. nightmare. Marinol (dronnabinol) is a legal, prescription alternative that does help many. But it is very costly and, being only one isomer of THC, not as effective for some. The hypocrisy of criminalizing drugs is underscored by pot's illegal status in the face of the devastation that may be wrought by alcohol, cigarettes, Xanax, Prozac and other drugs which can be abused.
