“Playing by the Rules: Ethics at Work” Kicks Off Leadership & Ethics Week at Columbia Business School

columbia-b-school-eventYesterday evening Playing by the Rules Ethics at Work kicked off the annual Leadership and Ethics Week at Columbia Business School’s The Sandford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics.

Leadership and Ethics Week is a full week of events dedicated to exploring the topics of values-based leadership, ethical executive decision making, and corporate social responsibility.

Playing by the Rules offered a screening of episode 2 “Ask Why,” which premiered on THIRTEEN, WLIW21 and NJTV back in January. The episode explored the rise and fall of Enron, and the story of one Enron employee brave enough to take her concerns straight to the top.

After the film Sherron Watkins, Former Vice-President, Enron Corporation (via Skype); Bryan Myers, Producer/Writer, Playing by the Rules: Ethics at Work Series; and Sheelah Kolhatkar, Host, Playing by the Rules: Ethics at Work Series and Staff Writer, The New Yorker, participated in a lively panel discussion moderated by Eric Abrahamson, Hughie E. Mills Professor of Business.
