“Great Performances: The Hollow Crown” Wins Falstaff Award

The Great Performances production of The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses has been honored with a Falstaff Award for “Best Film” from PlayShakespeare.com.

The mini-series, comprising Henry VI, Parts 1 and 2 (the plays’ three parts condensed to two parts) and Richard III, won the award over the restored version of Orson Welles’ Macbeth.
