Guests enjoyed three delicious courses from Season 17 of America’s Test Kitchen (ATK), including Farro Salad, with asparagus, sugar snap peas and tomatoes; Pan-seared Salmon, with chimichurri served with walkaway ratatouille; and Lemon Posset with fresh berries (as demonstrated in the above image).

A special cooking demonstration of the dessert with our celebrity chefs impressed the crowd, while laughter and applause was heard throughout the afternoon as Bridget and Julia offered helpful kitchen hacks using Oxo tongs (ATK’s recommended brand) for everything from juicing a lemon to opening a Brooklyn Lager!

True to the PBS mission, the hosts shared how repeated testing and observation is used to best understand the nature of ingredients being heated, cooled and combined – emphasizing how science helps to explain why the recipes works.
