Peter Brickman joined WNET in April 2013 as the new Chief Technology Officer
Peter was most recently a Principal Consultant at IGS, a technology company focused on the design and operation of technology systems used in media-dependent operations as well as other high data traffic facilities, including sporting arenas, learning institutions and malls.
Before IGS, he was Chief Technology Officer at MetLife stadium, the home of the New York Giants and New York Jets NFL football teams. MetLife stadium has been recognized as the most technology-enabled stadium in the world and Peter oversaw the facility’s $100M technology design and implementation. His background in television production and operations was credited as the reason MetLife stadium is the ideal venue for sports and concert entertainment.
Prior to joining MetLife Stadium, Peter was Managing Director of Ascent Media, a provider of technology and content distribution services for clients including YES Network, NFL Network, NHL Network, CBS College Sports, DIRECTV and A&E Networks. Prior to Ascent, Brickman was at the NFL overseeing the technology, data and product initiatives for NFL SUNDAY TICKET, NFL Network, Live Game Streaming, and HDTV.
