WNET’s Interactive Engagement Group is hiring a Summer 2017 Online Production Intern for NATURE. Apply immediately.

The Interactive Engagement Group (IEG) at WNET is a team of over 25 content producers, social media managers, designers, and developers who provide ongoing web and mobile app development for WNET’s station sites, local productions, PBS national programs, and external clients. We work in a deadline-driven 24-hour broadcast environment, creating some of the most popular and acclaimed digital tools for nonprofits and for-profit companies alike.

Production Interns for IEG will be exposed to all aspects of the digital production process for NATURE’s online presence. The process will include researching and creating engaging online experiences and possibly shooting, editing and processing of audio and video for online usage. Other responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Edit video and audio for NATURE website and social channels;
  • Researching, creating, and coordinating written, video and multimedia assets;
  • Research and development of online features;
  • Writing appropriate metadata for video and related content.
