This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of the television production industry. Interns will see first-hand how a large scale documentary project is researched and developed. The internship will involve heavy research to aid us in our search for filmmakers around the world who will contribute footage to the project. Best applicants will have very strong research and writing skills, be computer savvy, have social media and basic film production and editing skills, and a background or strong interest in film and television production and/or world religions.
Interns will be supervised, but will also have the opportunity and will be encouraged to take initiative and get more involved in the production process. Their responsibilities and assignments will grow more complex and involved as they learn the procedures and demonstrate their ability to multi-task and perform on deadline. There will be some errand running and general administrative work, but through this work interns will have the opportunity to meet people in different departments and will realize the attention to detail required for a successful program.
The internship will require a commitment of two days a week. Dates are flexible.
